WHY ISN’T FIZZY LIZZY 100% JUICE LIKE SOME OTHER BRANDS?
Very simply: Because we don’t want to be! Juices in general contain a lot of sugar. So where juice is concerned, you CAN get too much of a good thing. What makes Fizzy Lizzy special is that we dilute our juice with sparkling water so you get just the right amount of yummy flavor without too many sugars or calories.
OKAY, SO WHY IS FIZZY LIZZY STILL BETTER THAN OTHER BRANDS OF SPARKLING JUICE?
Because we taste better and still have fewer calories and sugars per ounce. See, we use more of the characterizing juice in our recipes (the juice that gives the drink its character – the juice each flavor is named after) and less filler juice (other juices you see on the ingredients list like white grape, apple, and pear juice. Filler juices contain lots of sugar and virtually no vitamins or micronutrients. They mask the taste of the named juice and in many cases help create juices that are really nothing more than sugar water. Ewwww.) If the bottle says Grapefruit, we give you grapefruit juice! Are there exceptions? Sure there are (see next question). But not many.
DOES FIZZY LIZZY USE FILLER JUICE?
Yes, we use white grape juice. But we use it sparingly. And where it is used as a main ingredient, we use it because we have no choice. It is necessary to cut down on the powerful tartness of the potent named flavors. (Imagine drinking pure, carbonated, lemon juice. Ouch.) The bottom line, though, is that Fizzy Lizzy uses more of the named juices and less filler juice than any competing brand. That’s why we taste so much better but contain significantly fewer calories and sugars.
WHY DON’T ALL FIZZY LIZZY JUICES HAVE THE SAME PERCENTAGE OF JUICE?
The perfect taste is a combination of different amounts of juice and seltzer which varies from flavor to flavor. our fizzicists™ have done a lot of work giving each flavor just the perfect amount of seductive charm.
HOW DOES FIZZY LIZZY TASTE COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS?
Naturally, you deserve an unbiased answer to that question. So we suggest you check out our “Why Fizzy Lizzy” page or take a look at some affectionate consumer reviews in our press section. Better yet, write your own.
WHAT IS THAT STUFF AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FIZZY LIZZY BOTTLE?
It’s real fruit juice and all the good stuff that comes with it. Unlike other brands, Fizzy Lizzy doesn’t use gums to suspend the pulp. Nor do we use clarified juice concentrates from which the pulp has been removed (‘cause they just don’t taste as good!). Remember, when we make Fizzy Lizzy, the flavor comes first. Don’t forget to gently shake before drinking (especially our pineapple!). That’s the best way to experience all the love.
WHY ISN’T FIZZY LIZZY “ORGANIC”
Right now, it’s too expensive and organic juices are not as readily available. When we can produce Fizzy Lizzy with organic ingredients at affordable prices, rest assured we will.
IS FIZZY LIZZY VEGAN?
Yes
WHAT IS “NATURAL FLAVOR?”
Natural flavors are the bomb. They are the volatile, essential taste and aroma component of (in our case) a fruit. They are the essential oil or essence of a given plant or food often obtained by roasting or heating. They create flavor and also enhance flavor. They are very attractive to taste buds.
FIZZY LIZZY IS PASTUERIZED. WHY?
We pasteurize Fizzy Lizzy so we don’t have to add any preservatives and so you don’t have to worry about spoilage. Studies have shown that pasteurizing reduces the nutrients in foods by less than 1%. If it wasn’t smart and wasn’t healthy and wasn’t showing tender care, we wouldn’t do it.
SO WHAT’S THE SHELF LIFE OF FIZZY LIZZY?
Eighteen months from the date of production. You can find that best by date printed just above the front/body label.
DOES FIZZY LIZZY COME IN PLASTIC BOTTLES?
No and it’s not likely, considering there is currently no technology that allows for proper pasteurizing of a carbonated beverage in a plastic bottle.
DOES FIZZY LIZZY COME IN LARGE BOTTLES?
Not yet.
DOES FIZZY LIZZY COME IN CANS?
Not yet, but we’re close!
WILL FIZZY LIZZY MAKE A DIET VERSION?
Probably not. As you can imagine, diet drinks contain artificial sweeteners and we prefer to stick with a juice that is simple, pure and natural. Not to mention, recent studies have shown that drinking diet beverages is correlated with gaining weight. We absolutely encourage people to enjoy healthful lifestyles and watch their diets. All-natural Fizzy Lizzy can fit into any diet in moderation. There’s no reason you can’t adore Fizzy Lizzy just the way it is.
WHERE IS FIZZY LIZZY SOLD?
We sell through distributors which makes it difficult to stay on top of who carries our drink. Look for us in specialty- and gourmet-food stores, bakeries, cafes, and Whole Foods in select regions.

HOW CAN I GET MY FAVORITE STORE TO CARRY FIZZY LIZZY?
Just ask them to carry it. The truth is, stores and store owners listen and respond to their customers more often than they do a manufacturer. So simply ask the Grocery Manager to carry Fizzy Lizzy. Perhaps even mention some of Fizzy Lizzy’s more notable charms, like nutritiousness and taste. Chances are good you may see it there next time.
